The Swedish Swiss Chamber of Commerce (SSCC) has the pleasure of inviting you to the Business Forum 2018.

Both Sweden and Switzerland rank as two of the most innovative countries in the world. In order to create an environment which fosters startup growth and innovation, a country needs to have the right ingredients.

Switzerland has some of the world’s best infrastructure, highest disposable income, and consistently ranks as being the most innovative country in the world. Switzerland’s startup scene is warming up, but what is required to become one of the main hubs for startups in Europe? Sweden has a booming startup scene with a mature ecosystem with hubs in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö. Having produced 7 unicorns to date, Stockholm is the third most prolific hub globally. An active startup scene is important for the economic growth of a country and to create future opportunities. Agility and flexibility in a fast paced world are key to success.

What is required to attract and retain startups? We have invited speakers from both Sweden and Switzerland to discuss the importance of startups, respective challenges and opportunities and what we can learn from each other.
