Internship Opportunities for International Professionals in Sweden

Many Swedes living abroad eventually return to Sweden with a foreign partner. For the whole family to thrive, it is important that the accompanying partner also finds their place in their new life. For many accompanying spouses with professional experience from abroad, gaining a foothold in the Swedish job market can be an important part of building a fulfilling life in Sweden.

Jobbsprånget is an internship program that connects international professionals with employers across Sweden, helping participants gain experience, build networks and take an important step into the Swedish job market.

The program was established in 2016 and works with hundreds of employers across Sweden. More than 7,000 international talents have participated so far, with many moving on to employment after completing their internship.

During the session, Laras and Rachna from Jobbsprånget will share practical advice on how to prepare for the next application period, strengthen your profile and improve your chances of securing an internship through the program.

The event is organised as part of Swedes Worldwide’s International Spouse Program, but is open to anyone interested in learning more about Jobbsprånget and finding a way into the Swedish job market.
